International Youth Conference In Muar

17th August - 23rd August (IYC)

A total of 8 of us from my church went for the International Youth Conference at Muar. The conference was conducted by Dr Jonathan David. This year theme was Generation Transition and Personal Transformation. Youths from 11 different countries came and it was awesome to see every youths from every nation worshiping together as one, without any boundaries from cultures, backgrounds but we were able to speak the same language in the Spirit.

We were separated in age groups. Mine was the oldest "25 Years old". We had 6 of us in the group- Josephine Gan was our team leader, Michelle, Helen(the nurse), Ann, Tarleeann and me(of course!).
Every morning before the session starts we would discuss on what we have learned the previous days and share and encourage one another, praying and declaring every word that was spoken.

I enjoyed the finance workshop which was conducted by Brother Raymond. He was in 300,000 debts few years back because of failling to manage his finance accurately.
This words spoke right through "Why do you need to make money" If it is for yourself that is a total wrong intention! The purpose of making money is not for yourself but the mindset or thinking pattern needs to be change to making money for God's Kingdom here in this world. The true reason why many Christians are not able to rise beyond financially is that they do not see the higher call of God's destiny for us "His sons and daughters". By right we have our legal rights to all inheritances of his world because God owns everything here, but we are striving every ounce of our blood just to earn a living. It is more than that leh..
How could life be so DULL.

Rise up beyond that. Look beyond that future. God is trans-generational is His plans and purposes. He gave Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David...and many generations down the road the same inheritance of the earth. As we keep the ways of the Lord by doing righteouness and justice, we would be that generation that will carry on the baton of our father.
