Surprise Daddy's Birthday

I had the opportunity to hear from Stephanie of what a lovely birthday my dad had today.
This was the story....
On the phone
Peter: " Pastor, my teeth very pain, can you come out to pray for me please?"
Pastor went out: "I know you all hiding behind the car lah, come out!"

All of them jump out from the car and sang a birthday song.

Stephanie made my dad's favorite carrot cake with my recipi for his birthday.
Thanks guys and gals for doing this and making it a special day for my dad on my behalf.
You all are my special FAMILY.

First Day at Work

My first day at work.
There are 6 properties which I would need to manage. Going to and Fro from places to places is rather a good exercise though. I am still getting adjust to lifestyle here. And I had the opportunity to sit on a bike! Haha...that was fun. We had service yesterday and many who greeted me and ask of how am I getting use to this place.
"Boring leh" thats thier first question to me..hahaa..
I do miss my previous working colleugues back at home, lots of fun in relating with one another. Here, everyone is serious at work. The best part of here is that I get to go home for lunch or rest during my break time! How cool is that, but there is no where else to go.

On Tuesday, I had a friend Eric to visit me here at Muar, what a welcome from KL. Thanks Eric at least I wouldn't feel so out of place on my first day here:)

Today is my dad's birthday, its his first birthday which I am unable to celebrate with him. I miss him dearly, so much...
I LOVE YOU DAD!

Life at Muar

This is my second day at Muar. Got all my stuff unpack yesterday and having my clothes cupboard falling apart almost 10 times just annoyed me SO MUCH!
But its pretty settled well here now.

This morning, Susanne (My house mate) and Me went to the seaside, it was almost a 45 minutes walk. We had to walk at the dusty road with lots of trucks moving on the main road, and then suddenly a different breeze arrived, the sea and nature breeze. It was so windy that my unbrella would go on another direction, but it was a fun walk almost half of Muar town.
The feeling of here in Muar is like a village . It reflects memories back at Batu Pahat where I use to visit and miss. I did had the thought of wanting to stay at Batu Pahat when I was younger ( another small town an hour away from Muar), the smell of the town and city is without comparison, quiet peaceful and without haste.

Well, it seems to me like I am on a holiday rather than having to stay here for good ...!! Which is good then I wouldn't get home sick YET!~ hopefully~

One thing here which I can't adapt still is the HEAT! Wouldn't want to go out often in this weather or I'll be tanned.

This is my new chapter and its so encourage to hear stories of others, how the Lord brought them here to Muar serving together in All Nation Santuatry.

God has choosen a company of people for Himself in fullilling His works in every part of this nation and wherever you are and whatever your do, you are meant for greater heights for THE KINGDOM DESTINY. Each one carries a calling from the Lord, even I might not know why God has brought forth me here but this is a "Journey of Miracle". As you walked with Him, He will open up pathways for you which you nver ever would imgine or think. This is my Faith and the secret of how it works!:)

God's Sovereign Hand

God's Sovereign Hand is upon us. Knowing this sets our faith upon Him. Faith is believing , speaking and acting it! With this, our prayers will have prevailing powers. Nothing could stop us in acquiring our legal rights as sons and daughters of God.

We must know what we carry in us. Pray with selfless motives, having a vission and passion for others, for the Lord. Just like Hannah, when she prayed the prayer"Give me a child for you". After many years of being barren, finally she has come to a point when " it was enough, no more pain of not having a child!" There is where she began to pour out her whole self to God realizing that it is not her desire or for others, but it is for GOD's KINGDOM.

Laffy's Day

Laffy giving "The Word"

Uncle Shien with the "big and small" kids

We have a special speaker to preach this Sunday-"Pastor Laffy"

Her sermon inspires:
How to advance God's Kingdom?
1)Connect to the destiny of God.
How are we to connect?
a)Connect to the set man of the House
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you Shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

b)We are to submit under authority
Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief for that would be unprofitable for you

c)We must honor the man of God
Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another

2)We must change our mind thinking and mind set need to change.
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

3)We must grow strong in the dimension of the Spirit and Word.
We need to flow in one frequency when the proceeding word comes, we must hold on and believe it and move on towards His Word. Build on nothing else except the Word of God.

4)To be a son ship of the house.
Whatever the set man has, it would be pass on to "SONS"
Legacy is more than inheritance that can be seen.
Legacy can be transfer; Inheritance is to be partake.

Laffy has been a tremendous blessing to everyone here in Triumphant Christian Centre, seeing her grow in spritual statue and being able to pass her legacy to the younger generations has impact many lives. Not forgetting Uncle Shien as well, a man with such tender servant heart. He is like a big huggy bear "Father" ..hahaha

Primary School Gathering

Hartamas Mamak

Emergency gathering! Was wondering what kind or urgent matters that requires us to get together. Teck Leong, your text makes people JUMP!..haha..anyway, its great to be able to get together at the last minute notice, as we always have gatherings when someone is back from overseas or going to overseas, outstation or festive seasons.
Getting together is just fun having to reflect back all the nonsense we did when we were younger! Each one has some mark of trade!
